Learn the ins and outs of running your own blog. We'll show you how to set up and administer your blogspace using Wordpress. We'll teach you how to market your blog so that more people than just your friends and family are paying attention. We'll teach you the lingo so you'll understand RSS, pings and trackbacks. We'll also spend time exploring various plugins for photo galleries, tag libraries and other useful ways to extend your Wordpress installation.

Intro to Illustrator, the industry standard for logo design, illustration, brochures, and posters using vector graphics. In addition to its range of uses for illustration, Illustrator has no equal for handling type and using it in creative ways. Geared to both the novice and the self-taught who want to fill in gaps in their knowledge. Illustrator is a great stand-alone program, and makes a wonderful companion program for those who already know Photoshop and want to enlarge their knowledge of design software. It's a must for graphic designers.

Full Course Workshops
Sometimes you just gotta know how to make things work. This is the "under the hood" part of our catalog. Here we teach you to use common tools like text editors and terminal sessions to build, edit and understand websites. When you register for a Full Course Workshop series, you receive 3 months of web hosting at no extra charge.
Introduction to HTML and CSS. Get to know the code, learn how to work on basic pages that display images, and other content using only a text editor. Upon completion of this workshop, you will have a basic understanding of HTML and CSS source code and you will be able to run basic sites with confidence.
